About Lin

I am formally trained in engineering (computer science) and a teacher in mathematics, programming, technology and AI. Long-time meditation practitioner of more than a decade of practice in meditation techniques:

  • Vipassana meditation: S. N. Goenka body scanning and Mahasi Sayadaw noting practice.

  • Sedona method-like method: Letting go technique

  • Mantra meditation

  • Just sitting with determination and alertness

Right now I am working with students (15-19 years), teaching programming, math and technology. I am a lead teacher, responsible for improving motivation and mindset of the students in my school. I have more than a decade of experience in leading and teaching young adults.

I have more than a decade of experience in martial arts training. My main style is Kung-fu (a performance art more than for self-defense):

  • Kung-fu (~10 years): Traditional (Shaolin fist and staff) and modern (Changquan) Kung-fu

  • Some experience in Korean martial arts (2 years): Kichunmun (기천문, 氣天門), Haidong Gumdo (해동검도, 海東劍道) (Korean sword martial arts)
